The first question

Is your test DOT or non-DOT?

This determines the panel, the paperwork and who receives the result. If you are not sure, tell us the job role and we will confirm it.

DOT testing

For safety-sensitive roles in federally regulated industries — commercial drivers and other DOT-covered positions. DOT testing follows federally prescribed procedures and forms, and results are handled through the process those regulations set out.

Elite1 performs collections and program coordination. We do not interpret regulations for you — your DER, MRO or counsel remains the authority on your obligations.

Non-DOT testing

For everyone else — private employers, staffing agencies, construction, healthcare, manufacturing, courts, treatment programs and individuals. Panels are more flexible and can be tailored to your policy.

What we can collect and coordinate

Not every method suits every situation. We will recommend based on your reason for testing, your policy and your timeline.

DOT drug testing — $75

The standard test for safety-sensitive DOT roles. Collected at our office or on site, then submitted to a partner laboratory for analysis under federal procedures.

30-minute appointment.

Rapid drug testing — $50

An on-the-spot screen when you need a preliminary result quickly, usually within 5 to 15 minutes. Non-negative screens are sent for laboratory confirmation before any conclusion is drawn.

10-minute appointment.

Five-panel hair testing — $200

A hair-based option some employers prefer for pre-employment screening. Availability and turnaround depend on the partner laboratory.

30-minute appointment.

Breath alcohol testing — $65

A simple, non-invasive breath test measuring Blood Alcohol Concentration, with results in minutes. Used for DOT and workplace requirements, and after an accident.

10-minute appointment.

Collections only — $50

Already have a laboratory account and your own custody and control forms? We perform the collection and hand off to your existing process.

20-minute appointment.

DOT physicals — $150

Handled as one arrangement rather than two: we take care of the drug screen, and the examination is performed by FNP Jessica Turner, about seven minutes from our office.

45-minute appointment. The examination itself is performed by that provider, not by Elite1.

Running a compliant testing program takes more than testing. Elite1 can administer the ongoing pieces so you are not tracking selections and paperwork in a spreadsheet.

C/TPA & consortium services — $150/year

A one-stop arrangement covering consortium membership, your random testing pool, your certificate of enrollment and DOT compliance management — for owner-operators, small fleets and larger programs alike.

We manage the pool, run the selections and notify you when someone is drawn, so selections happen on schedule.

Certificates of enrollment

Documentation of consortium enrollment for the parties who ask for it — brokers, shippers, insurers and auditors.

Clearinghouse assistance — $50

We set up your Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse portal account and handle your USDOT # registration, including designating a C/TPA where that applies to you.

Registration paperwork for new and existing operations, handled as part of the same $50 Clearinghouse setup.

Drivers away from Greenville? We arrange collections at partner sites so a test does not mean a trip home.

Responsibility for compliance with FMCSA, DOT and state requirements remains with the employer or operator. Please confirm your obligations with your own qualified advisor.

Travel fees

Within 30 miles of our Greenville office: $0.75 per mile. Thirty miles or more: $100. The travel fee is added to the service price and quoted before the appointment is confirmed.

Prices are per test unless stated otherwise and are confirmed when you book. Laboratory confirmation testing on a non-negative rapid screen, where required, is charged separately.

Before your appointment

Appointment policies

What should I bring?

Bring a valid, unexpired government-issued photo ID. If your test was ordered by an employer, court or program, bring any paperwork, authorisation number or donor pass they gave you.

For DOT testing, tell us the employer name so the correct forms are used.

What happens if I arrive late?

There is a 20-minute grace period. Past that, either a $10 late fee applies or the appointment is rescheduled, depending on what the day's schedule allows.

Collections run in sequence, so please call ahead if you are running behind and we will tell you what is possible that day.

Can I cancel or reschedule?

Yes — call or email as early as you can so the slot can be reassigned. Mobile appointments involve scheduled travel, so please give as much notice as possible.

How long do results take?

It depends on the test method and the partner laboratory. Rapid screens produce a preliminary result during your visit; laboratory-confirmed results take longer, and confirmation testing adds time.

We give you an expected timeframe when you book and follow up if anything changes. Turnaround times are not guaranteed and can vary with laboratory volume and the specific test ordered.

Who receives my result?

That depends on who ordered the test. Employer-ordered testing is returned through the process that program requires. Testing you arrange for yourself is returned to you.
